I have been designing, producing, and installing signs at my family's sign business for the last 14 years. Yeah, I’ve had some time to practice. Not gonna lie, cranking out good designs in the first few years was really rough.

I started out having just taken a few graphic and design classes in high school. That gave me a copy of Photoshop and just enough knowledge to be dangerous.

It’s easy to make things look good on a computer. But once on display in real life, what I had made only could be read close up. That’s not a sign, that’s a book. And sitting a book out in front of your store doesn’t say anything besides you don’t know what you’re doing.

I put together this course to help others skip the years-long learning curve of having signs produced and installed before realizing you can barely read it.

Nothing feels worse than spending days and even more dollars putting a sign together only to realize how things look on a computer does not equal real life.
